"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am they God: will strengthen thee; year, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
Isaiah 41:10-11

Dear brothers and sisters

Thanks to each of you that remember us in prayer, we have seen some remarkable answers over the past month and more reasons to pray.

At Strong Tower Christian School we are preparing for the end of the year. We have a month left of school, so things are swiftly drawing to a close. The classes are preparing for the final exams and for the Christmas program Dec 16th.

In the will of God we will add another two classes in January. We already have parents asking about matriculation for next year, today three new families registered for next year. We are thankful for the opportunities to present the gospel to the children and families of the community through this means. Please pray for the people that have heard the gospel that they would respond.

Morning Star children’s home has been experiencing some changes. Recently there have been numerous requests to house children. Since I last wrote a girl of five has joined the second floor family. On the same day she arrived a lady in Chiclayo saw a couple in a mototaxi with two babies abandon one on a garbage heap. The baby only days old has since joined the downstairs household. With the arrival of these two the numbers have reached sixteen. In more than one way the houses are full, but the requests by the state to house more continue to pour in. The home currently has one building with two floors; each floor is a home and can house up to eight children as well as the house parents (a Christian couple).

We prayed the night before the last baby arrived for God to provide more space so we could house more children, but also to allow some of the children to be adopted. The next morning when I arrived at Morning Star I was greeted with the news that one of children (18mo) was being adopted. We are thankful for this answer.

Then today three boys 18 months, 3 years and 4 years were taken from their mother who was mentally unable to care for them. There is currently a strike on with the court workers so the judge had nowhere to send the children. So as of tonight we are taking care of three young boys, Edwin, Jorge, and Nain. The current projection is that it will be for a week. After a haircut (to deal with the lice) and a trip to the store room for some clothes and necessities they came back to our home and quickly fell asleep.

We would appreciate your prayers as we seek to serve the Lord here. We are discovering many different avenues of service for Him.

In Him
